200 dogs. 190 cats. 8 days. We need help.
In 2025, ACCT Philly took in 20,057 animals, more than the year before. Even with that increase, 87% were reunited with their families, transferred to rescue, or adopted, thanks in part to 688 dedicated volunteers, including 488 new faces.
The need hasn’t slowed in 2026. In less than two weeks, we’ve already taken in 400 animals. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, there are immediate ways to help make a difference:
Thanks to the support of the Bissell Pet Foundation, we’re hoping to #EmptyTheShelter with $10 adoption fees for all animals in foster care and at the shelter!
