ACCT Philly staff attends training at the Philadelphia Zoo

With the recent intakes of reptiles at ACCT Philly, we were able to send over 29 employees to attend a training on how to care for reptiles. Curator of Reptiles and Amphibians, Lauren Augustine and Executive Director, Sarah Barnett, identified some needed over here at ACCT.  From there the team at the Philadelphia Zoo put together a training for the staff at ACCT Philly. The training went over these points: (a)Stop the bleed and emergency first aid training, (b) Reptile Physiology and Husbandry, (c) Reptile Nutrition and (d) Reptile Triage by our Zoo vet team.
