ACCT Philly is teaming up with Hill’s Pet Nutrition to bring the spirit of school homecoming to Philadelphia and make it easier for local residents to welcome anew pet into their lives. From October 1 – 15, ACCT Philly is waiving adoption fees for large dogs weighing 40 pounds or more (thanks to Hill’s). To support new pet parents with the transition home, every adopter will also receive a New Pet Parent Kit from Hill’s, including a starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet, coupons and post-adoption tips.
The campaign is part of Hill’s “Home Sweet Homecoming,” bringing shelters and communities together to celebrate new beginnings and help shelter pets find loving new homes. Large dogs spend 70% longer in shelters than small dogs, which is why Hill’s and ACCT Philly want to give them a little extra attention this homecoming season.
As a proud partner of the Hill’s Food, Shelter & Love program, ACCT Philly receives discounted Hill’s brand pet foods for the shelter pets in our care. This support allows us to focus our resources on other important needs and ensures our pets receive high-quality nutrition.
