GIVE

Have a question about giving? Our Donor Support team is here to help. If you have questions about making a donation, your gift, or other ways to support ACCT Philly, please contact us at donorsupport@acctphilly.org.

Employer Matching

Your employer may match your charitable donation, helping you increase the impact of your gift. Many companies have matching gift programs that can double or even increase the value of your contribution.

Check with your employer or search your company’s matching gift portal to see if your donation is eligible.

Donor-Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) allows you to recommend a charitable gift to ACCT Philly from funds you have already set aside for charitable giving.

To recommend a grant to ACCT Philly, use the giving portal provided by your DAF sponsor. If you need additional information to make your gift, please contact our donor support team.

We’re known as ACCT Philly, but you’ll find us listed under our legal name Animal Care and Control Team (of Philadelphia). Our tax ID is 45-3985637.

Stocks & Securities

Donating appreciated stocks, ETFs, or mutual funds can be a tax-advantaged way to support ACCT Philly. Gifts of securities held for more than one year may allow you to avoid capital gains tax while receiving a deduction for the current value of your gift. Please consult your tax adviser for guidance specific to your situation.

ACCT Philly accepts stock gifts through DonateStock, making it easy to give securities directly to support Philadelphia’s animals.

Give Through a Will or Trust

A planned gift can help support ACCT Philly and Philadelphia’s animals for years to come. You can:

  • Leave a specific dollar amount or asset to ACCT Philly.
  • Designate a percentage of your estate through your will or living trust.
  • Give the remainder of your estate, or the amount left after gifts to your loved ones have been made.

The following is an example of language you may wish to discuss with your attorney when creating or updating your will or trust:

“I give and bequeath to The Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia, a not-for-profit organization, currently located at 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19140, the sum of $__________, or _______% of my estate, to be used for the accomplishment of its general purpose (or for a specific purpose as indicated).”

Give Supplies

ACCT Philly relies on donated supplies to help care for animals in our shelter and support our day-to-day operations. From food and enrichment items to cleaning and animal care supplies, every donation helps us meet the needs of the animals in our care.

Our most-needed items change throughout the year. Check our current wishlist to see what we need most.
