A syringe pump is a motor-driven device designed to precisely control the infusion or withdrawal of fluids by steadily advancing or retracting a syringe plunger. This level of control ensures accuracy, consistency, and safety during medication administration.

This donation is especially impactful for medications such as Unasyn, an antibiotic that must be administered slowly to prevent potential adverse effects. The syringe pump allows our medical team to deliver Unasyn at the appropriate rate, ensuring safe and effective treatment while prioritizing each animal’s well-being.
