$10 Adoptions at ACCT Philly, Thanks to Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters

We’re thrilled to be participating in the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s #EmptyTheShelters event from December 1st – 15th! There’s no better time to add a furry friend to your life—snuggle up with hot cocoa and stay warm with a dog or cat.
From December 1st-December 15th, adoption fees are just $10 for all pets—whether you’re looking to adopt a dog , cat , or critter  at the shelter. This includes animals currently in foster care too—they’d love to find their forever home and avoid a return to the shelter (Please note the adoption will need to be finalized at the shelter).
All of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and if not already done they will be spayed or neutered. Your adoption will also a free starter bag of pet food, coupons from Petco and Chewy, a voucher for a free exam at a local VCA, and includes the opportunity to purchase low cost pet insurance. With more than 30 new animals entering our doors daily, we have over 200 animals at the shelter alone.

No appointments are needed, you can walk in anytime we are open between 10am-6pm 7 days a week. Make sure to also check out all of the upcoming adoption events we have here.

Can’t adopt? You can still help!
  • Volunteer! Our volunteers are critical to helping our animals, and we need more! Whether it’s walking dogs, socializing cats, or helping drive animals to rescue, it makes a huge difference
  • Foster a dog or cat in need! Fostering saves lives! We need fosters for large dogs, bottle baby kittens and adults cats who are scared at the shelter.
