Happy Tails: Zamba fka Sergeant Sam

“Sergeant Sam was so emaciated he was severely anemic, couldn’t walk without falling over, had pneumovirus and got time stamped for medical. I took him because I do veterinary rehab work with dogs and he was listed as a “3 year old mobility impaired dog.” It turned out he was actually more like 4 months old and he filled out…and kept filling out! He is 18% Bulldog and the rest is Bully. He is 88lbs now even being in perfect body condition for his shape. His name is now Zamba, for the MGM lion of the same name who was rescued as a cub from starvation and dehydration after he was run off by the new male lion and found by a compassionate advocate.” ~ AnnaLisa
