Philadelphia, PA – August, 2026 – ACCT Philly is teaming up with Hill’s Pet Nutrition for a special adoption campaign throughout August as part of NBCUniversal Local’s 12th annual Clear The Shelters, the nation’s largest pet adoption and donation initiative.

During the campaign, Hill’s is generously sponsoring fully waived adoption fees for all dogs and cats at ACCT Philly every Saturday and Sunday in August. Adoption hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each weekend.

Adopters will also receive a New Pet Parent Kit from Hill’s, which includes a starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet, a coupon and post-adoption tips.

Since its inception, Clear The Shelters has helped more than 1.3 million pets find homes and raised more than $5.6 million in donations for participating shelters and rescues. This year, Hill’s has stepped up as the first-ever presenting sponsor of Clear The Shelters, marking its ninth consecutive year supporting the campaign.

As a proud partner of Hill’s Food, Shelter & Love program, which provides discounted, science-led nutrition to shelters 365 days a year and has donated over $300 million in pet nutrition to help more than 16 million pets find homes, ACCT Philly is excited to join Hill’s and participating shelters nationwide to help find loving homes for as many pets in Philadelphia as possible during Clear The Shelters.
